Late Padam Shri Prof. Devendra Rahinwal, a noted social worker was the Secretary, Beehive Educational Society. An Educationist who devoted his life for the welfare and rehabilitation of the handicapped, sick, needy and the weaker sections of the society. Being a social activist he was awarded MANAV RATNA AWARD by The President of India, Hon. Shri APJ Abdul Kalam in the year 2005 and Padam Shri award in the year 2006.
Apart from all the social deeds he was closely associated with various literary organizations as Ex. Joint Secretary Distt. Child Welfare Council, Secretary-Tapovan Shiksha Samiti, Ex-Vice President-Distt. Crime Prevention Committee and many more. Prof. Devendra Rahinwal being a passionate writer had written many books and articles that were published in newspaper from time to time. He has also written, edited, adapted and directed more than two dozen dramas and act plays. In spite of being physically handicapped he was a very active and energetic person who indulged himself in many social, literary and educational activities.
During his whole life he worked for the welfare of the society and educating people thereby helping them in uplifting their standards of living. This great soul left us on 28th Dec. 2006. We all can never forget his entire contribution to the college and the society at large.
