B.Tech Ist Year |
The 100% admissions to the B.Tech Program would be made on the basis of JEE-2015 (Joint Entrance Examination) on All India Merit Basis, conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education. The admission to 85% of the total seats (50% Uttarakhand and 35% All India) would be made through State level counselling conducted by Uttarakhand Technical University. The counseling is done on the basis of merit based on ranks obtained by the students in Joint Entrance Examination conducted by CBSE. 15 % Management admissions are made directly by the Institute by conducting Institute level counselling based on the merit of JEE Rank . For admission to the General category seats, Uttarakhand Technical University advertises the counselling schedule in the National dailies like Times of India, Amar Ujala and Dainik Jagran etc. Detailed information can also be seen in http://uktech.ac.in/ And for Management category admissions, candidates need to register in the College. Out of 15% Management seats 5% seats are reserved for the NRI candidates.NRI seats would be filled up as per the AICTE norms i.e. by the NRI’s who have passed the qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry and Maths from an institute situated outside India which is considered equivalent to 10+2 Examination by the Association of Indian Universities. |
